About Me

I am a cybersecurity researcher and educator working at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and security systems. My research builds intelligent defenses: AI-driven intrusion detection, adversarial machine learning, phishing detection with NLP and deep learning, and explainable AI that security analysts can trust.

Alongside research, I have taught computer science for over 19 years at Bahrain Polytechnic and seven engineering institutions in India, including department leadership roles. As a Microsoft Certified Trainer and AWS Academy Trainer, I also prepare students and professionals for industry-recognized certifications.

Research Focus

Phishing Detection

A middle-layer system that uses behavioral psychology and multilingual transformers to stop phishing in email, SMS, and URLs before delivery.

Intrusion Detection

AI-driven intrusion detection for modern networks, including GAN-based methods for imbalanced data and explainable detection in encrypted 5G traffic.

Explainable & Robust AI

Models that stay accurate under adversarial attack and explain their decisions, using techniques such as SHAP and attention visualization.

Digital Payment Security

Planned work on securing India’s UPI and other real-time payment systems against social-engineering fraud.
